Trex Decking Installation, Highworth
- Date: Completed June 2022
A recently completed composite decking project in Highworth, Swindon. This customer had seen our new show-deck and decided to go with the colour & design of Trex Enhance Basics Clam Shell. The previous timber deck had serious damage from years of use and the natural elements taking away its strength, which can be seen in the images below.
Trex composite decking offers fantastic durability, due to its 3-sided shell and solid core the boards are less likely to crack or break. Also made from 95% recycled material, Trex is a go to option for many looking for a composite decking project. To commence the deck build the timber sub-frame is constructed, adding the Trex protective joist tape to ensure a longer lasting life and protection against water & rot. Once the sub-frame is made the Trex boards are installed using the hidden fixing system, this ensures the correct gapping is made between the boards & also leaves a 'screwless' finish. To complement the deck our customer chose the Trex Signature Railing Kit which adds added safety and modern design.
We hold great stocks of Trex at our site in Membury, Lambourn Woodlands. Take a look at our stock range now.
